Global Insight works with organizations large and small in the international development and human rights space. Our work often informs the work of multiple stakeholders and bridges the donor-grantee divide. Clients of Global Insight draw on our over two decades of experience to create, expand, and refine impactful organizations, programs, and communities.
Big Data + Violence Against Women + UN Recommendation Implementation
This project led by ICAAD, Global Insight, Data-Pop Alliance, and CKM Advisors uses data mining and ‘big data’ techniques to track the implementation of United Nations Universal Periodic Review recommendations on violence against women in the Pacific Island.
Field Notes + Focus Groups + Big Data
In 2014, our team supported the Women Refugee Commission’s Disability Rights program in integrating qualitative findings from field notes – gathered during interviews and focus groups in Jordan, Ethiopia, and Burundi – and quantitative analysis of the GBV-IMS dataset for a report on disability and gender-based violence in refugee communities.
Livelihoods + Gender + Mixed Methods
Interviewing and surveying more than 150 beneficiaries, government officials, and implementing partners during a four-month field visit and desk review, Global Insight evaluated livelihood and gender equality programming for Saodat, a DFID and GIZ implementing organization in northern Tajikistan.
